First Art Exhibition

 I am beyond thrilled that I will have my first art exhibition in February!! The exhibit is called: Flowers: Expressions of Love and features acrylic paintings of various floral bouquets. I’m learning a lot about how to write an artist statement for the exhibit, how to name and label my art, and just preparing pieces for the exhibit.

Deb Burdette is a local artist who paints in watercolor, oil pastel, and acrylic. In this collection, she loosely interprets the essence of flowers in an attempt to capture their many shapes and color nuances. This art focuses on flowers as an expression of love and thoughtfulness in an enduring bouquet.
