In the past several weeks I have been learning to use acrylic paint and oil pastels which left little time for watercolor. A few days ago I got out my watercolor and fountain pen to complete a painting. Wow! Just taking several weeks off really impacted my watercolor art. It shows the importance of daily practice to keep your skills intact. This is a real challenge for me as I’m loving all the various art mediums I’m trying! It’s a good thing I’m retired and have plenty of art time each day! I’m gonna need it if I keep learning new styles.
